The journey to the formation of ReFed started with Jesse Fink (Jesse). Jesse was a venture philanthropist who had dedicated two decades of his life to working on solutions to climate change and related environmental issues. In 2006, Jesse co-founded a private investment company – MissionPoint Capital Partners, that focused on financing the transition to a low-carbon economy. In 2014, Jesse co-founded another company – MissionPoint Partners. MissionPoint Partners was an impact investment manager and advisor focused on solving large-scale environmental problems through the deployment of high impact capital.
